Dan is the Chief Information Security Officer; he provides information and system risk support to Unified Strategic and clients. His extensive management and IT consulting knowledge and experience across private, public, and non-profit sectors has enabled Mr. Stevens to deliver strong, flexible, and dynamic security and privacy risk results.

Dan has worked as an executive IT management consultant and as an employee of some of the most respected firms in the Washington DC area including CSC, KPMG, Booz Allen Hamilton, James Martin and Company, and Robbins Gioia. His expertise includes the ability to work with diverse personalities to bridge the realms of IT and business in complex cultural environments and to develop and implement unique and effective solutions. He brings a keen knowledge of risk and privacy regulatory and solution frameworks as they apply to such sectors as Health and Federal and State government – this, coupled with his people focus, strategic thinking, marketing, and delivery of effective risk solutions, makes Dan a leader in risk, security, and privacy.

He brings a focus on strategy, policy, and compliance to help clients to identify and implement strategic, operational, and tactical privacy and security solutions that bridge business, people, and technology.

Dan holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Southern California and an Honors Bachelor of Arts in Social/Cultural Anthropology from the University of Toronto. He is also an International Coach Federation certified coach.
