Team ML Unified (Joint venture between Unified and Martin Loyd) is currently providing the USDA with program management, strategic program development and design, and program expertise to deliver a long-term comprehensive Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA) Adaptive Learning and Training Action Plan targeted to USDA to target audiences including executive leadership, supervisors and non- supervisory employees.
Our team is also providing the USDA development and support to deliver and Inclusive Hiring Practices Toolkit and learning webinar. Multiple delivery methods will be used to deliver learning and training engagements including self-study, tool kits, webinars, hybrid, and in-person sessions.
USDA seeks assistance with identifying DEIA training priorities for these audiences and best methodologies to deliver training. The purpose of the training and learning engagements are to instill technical skills for meeting DEIA strategic Plan goals as well as instill competencies needed in leaders and employees to develop the mindsets and to support positive work environments that bring to life a culture of inclusion within the USDA workforce. All products and deliverables will convey to employees and bring to life USDA’s core values as the common foundation for success of delivering USDA’s mission.
The effort will focus on adaptive and continuous learning and will integrate key DEIA skills into the required developmental training for employees and into leadership development programs hosted by USDA. The DEIA Adaptive Learning and Training Plan will be coordinated and led from the Chief Diversity and Inclusion Office and fully integrated with training delivered by the Offices of Human Resources and Civil Rights.
